Rengay

Invented by Garry Gay, rengay is a collaborative themed poem made up of linked verses. HPNC regularly runs rengay-writing workshops, holds an annual rengay contest, and considers the appreciation and writing of rengay one of its signature activities.  Rengay was created in reaction to the strict rules of the renku form and are meant to be relatively quick to write.
