Schedule for 2022

Due to the continued uncertainty surrounding the safety of in-person gatherings, we have decided to hold our quarterly meetings and special presentation meetings for 2022 online via Zoom. Invitations to the Zoom meetings will be sent to members by email. Please visit the "Recordings" page for recordings of past readings and events. Unless otherwise noted, all of our meetings begin at 1 p.m. Pacific Time. We hope to add some in-person social gatherings to be held outdoors starting in the spring. 

January 23, 2022: Winter quarterly meeting. Janice Doppler and Brad Bennett will be our featured readers. 

February 20, 2022: San Diego Bay Ginko: Slideshow and Reading by Deborah P Kolodji, Richard Matta, Yvette Nicole Kolodji, and Naia.

March 20, 2022: Haiku Fellowship (Or, How I Found What I Didn't Know I Was Looking For). Chuck Brickley will share a personal perspective on our unique sense of fellowship. Please bring your stories and anecdotes on this subject, too!

April 3, 2022: IN-PERSON gathering at the Sonoma Botanical Garden. HPNC's first in-person event since the pandemic began! We will meet in the parking lot in front of the Visitor's Center at 12:00 noon. The garden is located at 12841 Sonoma Hwy, Glen Ellen, CA 95442. More details will go out to members by email before the event. 

April 24, 2022: Spring quarterly meeting. Beverly Acuff Momoi and Bill Cooper will be our featured readers.

July 17, 2022: Summer quarterly meeting. Patrick Gallagher and Lesley Anne Swanson will be our featured readers.

 

September 18, 2022: Two Autumns Reading. The featured readers at this, our 32nd annual Two Autumns reading will be Jim Chessing, Kristen Lindquist, Scott Mason, and Julie Schwerin. Nathanael Tico will edit the commemorative chapbook and will also serve as the emcee for the event. Mark your calendars for this, our biggest event of the year!

October 16, 2022: Fall quarterly meeting. Gary Hotham and Helen Ogden will be our featured readers.
