Schedule for 2018-19
All of our meetings are free and open to the public. Unless otherwise noted, our meetings and events are held at Fort Mason (building C) in San Francisco from 1 to 5 p.m.
January 20, 2019: Winter meeting. Susan Antolin will be our featured reader. Garry Gay will lead a rengay workshop.
April 28, 2019: Spring meeting. Eve Luckring will be our featured reader and will also give a presentation/workshop on photography haiga.
July 21, 2019: Summer meeting. Alison Woolpert will be our featured reader. Workshop: Haiku from A to Z, by Fay Aoyagi. Due to scheduled renovations at Fort Mason, the summer meeting will be held at Project Artaud, located at 499 Alabama Street in San Francisco.
August 25, 2019: Two Autumns reading. Terry Ann Carter, Garry Gay, Jessica Malone Latham and Paul Miller will be the featured readers at our 30th annual Two Autumns reading. The commemorative chapbook, which will be available for purchase at the event, will be edited by Patricia J. Machmiller and produced by Linda Papanicolaou. Mark your calendars for our biggest event of the year! Due to continued renovations at Fort Mason, the Two Autumns reading will be held at 868 Kearny Street (North Beach area) in San Francisco.
October 20, 2019: Fall meeting. Cherie Hunter Day will be our featured reader. Joan Zimmerman will give a presentation on gender in haiku.
January 26, 2020: Winter meeting. Judith Schallberger will be our featured reader. Maggie Chula will give a presentation on haibun.
